I’m trying to slowly add a complete intercom system to go with cctv camera to my house. I’ve been looking at cctv systems to cover the front door which could be separate or built into the intercom system. When somebody rings the bell, I want to be able to hit a button on a cctv monitor and see who’s at the door. Then I can either buzz them in if it’s a close friend, or go answer the door if it’s like a delivery or something. I don’t want to Mickey Mouse something with a cheap webcam. It needs to be subtle and elegant to blend into the design of the house. A recessed cctv camera would be perfect.
